Note MEI HAVE RETURNED!!!!
sort of...Okay, I didn't actually go anywhere, I was just extremely busy!
For the past several months I've been working on my portfolio for school, and just making sure that everything is set for when I apply to college for Graphic Design. I haven't been very active lately, because I've just been so focused on trying to make sure that my portfolio is perfect. I finally finished the application process and I am a free bird!
You want to hear the good news? Well, guess what!
I GOT ACCEPTED FOR MY PROGRAM AND I WILL BE STARTING SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER!!!!!! WEEEE!!! I am so excited and nervous, but mostly excited!
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I can finally go back to working on my personal artwork and tend to my many obsessions. I'll post some of the work that I used in my portfolio on here, and if anyone is interested in seeing my full portfolio, just send me a note or write a comment on this journal, and I'll give you the link to my portfolio website.
So now that that's out of the way, let me just talk about the shit that's been going on since I've been gone. For starters, my brother somehow managed to break my Wacom tablet that I've had for 7 years! I am still pissed to this day that I had to replace my baby!
I ordered a new one online and it arrived a few days ago. It's pretty much the same exact tablet, just 1 model up from my old one. I just need to set it up and then I can finally start working on my digital pieces again. My mountain of sketches hasn't increased too much since my absence because I was so busy, but now I am slowly regaining the desire to draw sketches. I've been obsessed with
The Penguins of Madagascar lately (because those penguins are freaking awesome!), so I will be posting artwork for them soon.
Other than that, I'm doing well, and I apologize to anyone that's been waiting patiently for new artwork from me. It'll take a while to pop back into my old artsy ways, but I will be submitting artwork again soon...I hope. Hope you are all doing well! See ya!
